Editing Screenshots
Welcome to Savvyshot
Savvyshot is a desktop screenshot beautifier and editor for Windows and macOS. Capture a region, a window, a full screen, or a long scrolling page, then style it with backgrounds, annotations, device frames, and watermarks before exporting as an image or video.
Everything runs locally on your machine — your screenshots are never uploaded anywhere unless you explicitly choose to share or save them.
What you can do with Savvyshot
- Capture — region, window, full screen, or scrolling captures, each with its own configurable hotkey
- Edit — annotate with shapes, arrows, text, blur, emoji, step counters, and a zoom callout magnifier
- Style — add solid, gradient, image, or video backgrounds, device mockup frames, padding, shadows, and borders
- Protect — automatically detect and redact emails, IP addresses, phone numbers, and credit card numbers using on-device OCR
- Export — save as PNG, JPG, or WebP, export video backgrounds as GIF/MP4, or copy straight to your clipboard
- Pin — keep a screenshot floating on top of your other windows for quick reference
