Importing Existing Images

You don't have to capture a new screenshot to use Savvyshot — you can open any existing image and run it through the same editing, annotation, and export tools.

Browse for a file

On the home window, click Browse File and choose an image from your file system. It opens directly in the editor.

Drag and drop

Drag an image file from your file explorer/Finder and drop it onto the Savvyshot home window. It opens in the editor just like a fresh capture.

Supported formats

Savvyshot can open common raster image formats, including PNG, JPG/JPEG, and WebP.
