Watermark
The Watermark section of the right sidebar adds a text overlay to your screenshot — useful for attribution, branding, or marking drafts.
Options
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Toggle | Turn the watermark on or off. |
| Text | The watermark's text content. |
| Alignment | A 9-point grid (corners, edges, center) for positioning the watermark on the canvas. |
| Font size | Slider from 12–50px. |
| Text color | Color picker for the watermark text. |
| Box color | Optional background color behind the watermark text. |
| Text alignment | Left, center, or right alignment of the text within its box. |
Licensing note
On an unlicensed (free) copy of Savvyshot, a default watermark is automatically applied to exports. Activating a license (Basic or Pro) removes the default watermark and unlocks full customization of your own watermark text, color, and position. See Plans & Pricing and Activating Your License.
Tips
- Use a semi-transparent box color behind your watermark text to keep it legible over busy backgrounds.
- Corner alignments (top-left, bottom-right, etc.) keep the watermark out of the way of your screenshot's content.
