Window Capture

Default hotkey: Ctrl+Shift+5

Window capture grabs an entire application window in one click — no need to manually select its edges.

How to use it

1. Press Ctrl+Shift+5 (or trigger Capture Window from the home window or tray menu).
2. Move your cursor over the window you want to capture. Savvyshot highlights the window under your cursor.
3. Click to capture that window.

After capturing

The captured window opens in the editor, or in a floating preview window if Show preview after taking screenshot is enabled (see Settings).

Tips

• Press Esc to cancel before clicking.
• If a window has rounded corners or shadows, Savvyshot captures the window's full bounds as reported by the operating system.
