Device Frames
The Frame section of the right sidebar lets you present your screenshot inside a device mockup — useful for app store listings, marketing pages, and presentations.
Available frames
| Frame | Notes |
|---|---|
| None | No frame — the default. |
| iPhone 16 | Standard iPhone 16 frame. |
| iPhone 16 Plus | Larger iPhone 16 Plus frame. |
| iPhone 16 Pro | iPhone 16 Pro frame. |
| iPhone 16 Pro Max | Largest iPhone frame. |
| Windows window | Wraps your screenshot in a Windows-style window chrome (title bar, window controls). |
| macOS window | Wraps your screenshot in a macOS-style window chrome. |
iPhone frames
Each iPhone frame supports portrait and landscape orientation — toggle this in the Frame section after selecting the device. Savvyshot scales your screenshot to fit the device's screen area within the frame.
Window mockups (macOS / Windows)
Window mockups place your screenshot inside a simulated application window:
- Choose macOS or Windows style window chrome.
- For the macOS style, choose a light or dark toolbar theme.
This is a good fit for screenshots of desktop apps or browser windows where you want to add realistic window framing without capturing the real title bar.
Tips
- Combine a device frame with a background (see Canvas & Backgrounds) for a polished "app store screenshot" look.
- Switch back to None at any time to remove the frame without affecting your annotations.
